There is just something addicting about the ocean. The wonders that it holds, the creature it
hides, the secrets it keeps, the sounds it makes, and the emotions and feelings it stimulates. I am
fortunate observer of said ocean. They say humans are drawn to violence. This fact can
be proven by how the harsh crashing of waves on the beach has a calming effect on us. I too,
find it immensely satisfying.
I believe nature exists in patterns. If one has the pleasure of observing this majestic force of
nature long enough, you will find that after a few dozen bubbly splashes of water, waves
quiet down for just a moment, perhaps, to allow you to snap out of your trance and
experience the chirping cicadas of night.
At this time of day, I find the ocean most appealing the invisible horizons sometimes give me
chill. There is no telling where the sky ends and where the ocean begins. It is also more so,
when the twinkling stars of the night turn into majestic ships of the ocean, almost as a
reflection. Both mentally just as far away and impossible to reach, sometimes.
Even during the day the salty waves appear as a reflection of the fluffy white clouds over
head, floating away. Or perhaps, is it the other way around? Well, either way the divert
shades of blue, the unique sea life and its hypnotizing effect will never fail to mesmerize
humanity for all time to come as it has done for ages past.
